BallBOPPer 2026 Ball Revolver Overview

This post goes over a some of the features of the Ball Revolver. More detail will be provided in the documentation going forward.

Pictured above is the taller Ball Revolver that can hold 70 balls. This taller height is ideal for those that prefer to manually reload the balls by using the Revolver like a standard ball hopper, while the smaller version, which holds 42 balls, is ideal for those who utilize the catching and auto-reloading capabilities of the full BallBOPPer system.

The top of the Revolver features a locking handle that can be opened to empty the balls whenever necessary. Under the handle is an overflow area that allows the balls being loaded from the bottom to overflow into the empty tubes. And the space between the handle and the sides is just wide enough that the user can squeeze-in balls that are picked up by hand.

Looking at the bottom of the Revolver you can see the spring-loaded flippers that constrict entry into each tube like the rubber flange on a standard tennis ball tube. When gathering balls manually, you can set the Revolver down on top of balls regardless of which tube it enters since they all overflow at the top into any open tube.

In this view of the Revolve Gear you can see three prongs around the center hole. When you snap the Ball Revolver down into the launcher over the revolve gear these prongs engage the flippers for the center tube and allow the balls from the center tube to flow into the launcher.

During ball launching, after the center tube is drained of balls, the revolve gear rotates to drain each of the outer tubes one by one.

Note that the center hole functions for both balls flowing out of the center tube, and balls flowing up into the center tube from the court during auto reloading.

With a standard ball bucket like that of the 2023 BallBOPPer, the balls are randomly thrown together, pressing against each other and the side of the bucket, making them difficult and unpredictable to move. With the Ball Revolver the balls are all stacked in tubes and flow quickly and easily for both relaunching and reloading.
